Totalpost unveils Veridata acquisition
Totalpost one of the UK’s leading business continuity, mailroom, scanning and disaster recovery companies has completed the acquisition of returned mail specialist, Veridata.
“The combination of established expertise and leading edge technology will enable us to raise the bar on returned and gone away mail processing standards and help clients reduce cost and enhance their environmental performance,” said Totalpost Services Plc Managing Director David Hymers MBE.
Veridata was founded in 1996 and has established a reputation for delivering automated, quick turn-around processing services for returned and undelivered mail from throughout the UK and Europe on behalf of a range of clients including international banks and catalogue companies.
Veridata has been integrated as Totalpost’s ‘Returned Mail division’ creating a new standard in end-to-end mail management and processing services which will be based at operations centres in Warrington and Swindon.
“The benefits of having a specialist managing returned mail are enormous,” explained Veridata founder, Kirsty Craig.
“The whole process means that companies will save money, time and help the environment through carbon neutral and confidential disposal of waste with no added charges for discarding to landfill.”
Kirsty, who will be running the division with business partner Tim Craig, added: “We’re delighted to be part of such a successful and fast-growing business.”
David added: “This acquisition represents a major increase in the scale of our operations and facilities and enables us to add value to the services we deliver to our existing clients.”
