Total receives Silver Environmental Performance Award

Total announced today that it has been awarded a CBEN (Cumbria Business Environment Network) Silver Award for Environmental Performance. The achievement comes after the Company received the Bronze Award in July 2008.

Bruce Lenton, Compliance Manager for Total, has worked with CBEN to help Total achieve this highly commended award. “Once again we are keen to show our customers that we are taking environmental issues seriously”, said Bruce.

The award is given to companies who have significantly progressed their Environmental Management System, and communicated their policy to all interested parties both internally and externally.
