Totalpost are the exclusive European distributor for the most successful (and only) US manufacturer of three sided openers and extractors; and the range is represented by 3 models – one model offering opening and stacking at high speed, the next opening and extraction with a single operator, and finally the same but with two operators.

Overview

The range is designed as a heavy duty high capacity system that can offer various options as listed but can also be configured to accept a scanning workstation as part of the set up, thus allowing opening and scanning at a single point, by an individual operator. It also offers full statistics to job and operator level, which can also be communicated to a host or PC.

Major users already include banks, opening bureaus, government and healthcare departments and postal authorities and one of the major reasons for purchase has been the systems flexibility, speed and ease of extraction of contents with 3 sides being viewed as faster, easier and with less strain than with other 2 sided systems. By using the mill cut option this also removes the possibility of paper cuts and the minimal chance of content cuts.

Features

High capacity envelope input
Permits larger batches of envelope to be input to minimise operator involvement in loading / unloading.
Ability to have two operators managing a single opener extractor
This maximises the investment in the main part of the equipment and spreads that over a "double speed" opening ability and reduces overall floor space needed per site.

Scanning alongside opening
We have several strategic partners for scanning equipment and can even use suitable and existing scanners to be part of the system in some cases.
Sorting trays
These can be provided to your unique specification and requirement, to stand above the opening/extracting point for ease of use.
Copes with DL and C5 envelopes on same unit
Heavy duty design
Permits volumes of 5,000 to over 50,000 or more (with multiple units) to be handled daily, without any special operating skill apart from initial training.
