Royal Mail Approval

The Royal Mail logo

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) Report of 2005 required major manufacturers of franking machines to open their trading routes to enable resellers to offer customers the benefits of pricing, servicing and consumables – as well as the opportunity to source locally.

A key aspect of this process was that trade dealers would understand and be compliant with Royal Mail regulations, and in order to become a third party maintainer and supplier of franking machines Total had to pass the appropriate thorough selection process.

We are delighted to confirm that Total properly underwent the Royal Mail appraisal as well as the required full training by the manufacturers, and in January 2006 were approved as resellers for the majority of models produced by Neopost and Pitney Bowes. Not least of this approval process was Total’s demonstrated ability to respond to service calls across the UK within 24 hours via our own team of dedicated engineers.

Consequent to the above, Total is approved to display the Royal Mail cruciform logo in conjunction with the provision of these goods and services.

Total is listed as an Approved Supplier, Inspector and Maintainer on Royal Mail's website. For further information, please see:
